Roofing
Before installing your roof-mounted solar system, we’ll check your roof to make sure it’s in good repair. It wouldn’t make sense to install your solar array on a damaged or aging roof, only to have to dismantle it in order to make roof repairs. If we determine that your roof needs to be repaired or replaced before installing solar panels, our professional roofing team can take care of the job, giving you a beautiful new roof that will last for years to come without the need for expensive repairs later.
Does My Roof Need to Be Replaced?
Deciding whether or not to replace your roof before installing a solar system can be tricky. Here are a few things to consider that may help.

If your roof has any missing or damaged shingles, it isn’t able to properly keep moisture from leaking into your home. This type of damage is usually an indication that it’s time to repair or replace your roof.
If you see a large amount of loose granules from your shingles in your downspouts, your roof is probably starting to degrade.
If you’ve had any incidents of leaking or water damage inside your home, it’s a sign that your roof is no longer protecting your home as it should.
If your roof is more than 10 years old, it may make sense to replace it. The lifespan of your solar panels is 25 years or more, so you want your roof to last at least as long as your solar array.
